In addition to meeting every Sunday, the majority of people also meet every 1 or 2 weeks in so-called "home groups" to read the Bible together, talk about the contents, share experiences of life following Jesus and pray together.
Elia also has various opportunities to help you grow in their relationship to Jesus and fellow people, as well as in your Christian belief. Everything from special worship services to counselling courses, from holidays (retreats) to prayer meetings.
A further important part of life in Elia are the various teams. Elia is depends on everyone playing a part in the running of the church and it's important to us to spread the message of Jesus and his relevance to modern life. We do this in activities ranging from Sunday school through to a homeless drop-in center, from free activities for children on Friday afternoons to alpha courses covering the basics of Christian belief. There are countless ways for you to get involved in Elia, from making coffee on Sunday mornings, to maintaining this website, to participating in one of the other activities mentioned above.
